Hey everyone! I’m Alex—a Baalat Teshuva (returnee to Judaism) who has always been passionate about telling stories. I started out in women’s magazines and loved it. While I was working, I became religiously observant. At the time, it felt like I was living a double life and I had dreams of one day being able to blend the two worlds.

I’ve learned a lot over the past several years and continue to become awed and inspired daily. Here is a place to share my thoughts unedited (well maybe slightly for grammar purposes) and introduce some background behind the stories on the site.

As an observant Jewish woman, I am constantly growing, thinking and just trying to be better. This page is where we can just talk.
